Dad & Mom’s Marriage　view

Before I was born, in 1968. it is the super 8 film of my mom and dad’s marriage. Just a roll though. There are many amazing things in the film. My dad and mom of course, the way the marriage was done back then, cars, highways, shooting on cars on highways, people, there was even one child taking a blow of rice eating in the street while looking at my dad going up to “pick up” my mom in Shum Shu po… and the brilliant textures and colours (of course, at that time, there was no telecine and colours correction and I didn’t change the colours at all), the soft edges of shapes in sprite of high contrast… the mood… and the red that no other medium can offer you…and the red, colour for Chinese wedding. Good health and long live my dad and mom…
